2022 CBW Colorado Business Women Award Winner:

Spring is here and at CBW we have room to bloom!   Our annual May Celebration of Women was well attended and we recognized our fabulous president, Marcia Pinkstaff,  for her commitment to  CBW during the last few years and for her ability to shift her business model and continue to build a thriving business. Thank you to our members and guests for attending this 2022 live event, playing our scavenger hunt, and sharing how your business had to shift through the pandemic. At CBW, we are women with passion and purpose!

We wish to take a moment and celebrate one special woman who has journeyed through the pandemic with grace and fortitude.  She’s been a part of Colorado Business Women for the last four years and immediately got involved in taking on various leadership roles.  Now enter the pandemic.  Her party plan business took a significant hit when we could no longer meet in person.  Still, this didn’t stop her.  She made some adjustments and went virtual like so many of us, which led to amazing growth in her Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski business.

While making adjustments in her business, she also was leading this organization as our President. With tenacity and commitment, she lead our group to make adjustments, go virtual, return to in-person and continue to build a community that supports today’s women in business.

She navigated this organization through a time of unknown with sparkle and a smile!

Below is an email from the Board Chair of Dress For Success after the event:
Hello Melissa,
Many thanks to you and your CBW membership for honoring Amara and Dress for Success Denver as Business of the Year. You did a wonderful job of interviewing Amara and highlighting what a special person and leader she is, as well as sharing how we have pivoted as an organization this past year, to continue to serve our clients . As you know, we would not be where we are without her tireless efforts.
We truly appreciate CBW's ongoing support and commitment to us. Your membership truly embraces our mission. Your donations and financial support have allowed us to continue to help women fulfill their dreams of becoming economically independent.
With gratitude,
